Lima Brands created the visual identity for Mahalo, an events and ceremonies company.
The challenge. Building a brand that conveys seriousness, comfort and gratitude — the essence of the Hawaiian word “mahalo”, which translates as “thank you” and, at its root, means “may you be in the presence of the divine”.
What we did. We started from the name's etymology to build the concept and chose as the symbol the gratitude icon from the book “Go Gratitude” by Stacey Robyn. Together with Hawaiian philosophy, it expresses the company's core values.
Scope: brand strategy and visual identity.
